Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notationis a thinking tool that can teach people the art of observation, i.e. encourage them to aspire for the ultimate level of seeing. It does so by organizing the 'material' known as movements of the human body in relatively simple categories, thereby allowing us an insight (in-sight) into the complexity of this phenomenon as a whole." Working within its premises are:
The Noa Eshkol Foundation For Movement Notation
Established according to the will and testament of Noa Eshkol, the foundation was formally registered as a non-profit organization in June 2008. The foundation is responsible for the upkeep and development of the wide-scope research archive, its accessibility for the use of students and researchers and the storage, maintenance and sale of the thousands of wall-carpets made by Noa Eshkol. The foundation is the only authorized organization to carry out Noa Eshkol's expressed wishes concerning her legacy, the goals of which are:
"Preservation and development of Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation; comparison between different movement and dance notations, in order to clarify different ways of observation and thought of the human movement. Comparison and unification of different fields, styles and movement-disciplines, using a universal form of notation. Comparison between various dance styles; anthropological and ethnographical research." (From Noa Eshkol's testimony)

The Movement Notation Society
The Movement Notation Society was founded in 1968 by Noa Eshkol, in order to develop Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation, its distribution, its use as an artistic tool, and to support notation and performances of Noa Eshkol's dances. The Society is the sole owner and copyrights holder of the publications published by it or with its collaboration and their contents. The Society continues to work in close collaboration with the NE Foundation in order to fulfill the parallel goals of the two institutes.
